Racing
We were all operating under a feeling that we were racing the shade operative. Quietly we slipped into the open sky section of the bookstore. The dragonfly shaped box had started to hum. We had no idea what the box contained, only that somehow it was going to save us from the croco.
The sun was starting to rise before we found the indentation in the floor to slip the box into. We heard the movement of the croco in the recesses of the bookstore. The box opened. A marvelously coloured dragonfly emerged and began to grow preparing to hunt.

Haha, I didn’t factor that into the character creation.

I didn’t expect that! I love the open-air ceiling in the bookstore.

True, but I don’t see why that can’t be the good guys or the hero.

A dragonfly preparing to hunt. I love the perceved contradition in this… because I suppose that’s not a contradiction at all.
