The shelves were turned to form an octagon shaped space. It was compact and filled with organized clutter. There were four exit points between shelves and I stood at one. Under my feet the carpet showed extensive wear. The other three exits were blocked by stacked books and dusty cobwebs. The space was setup to focus on the desk, so where was its occupant?
