The journey from here back into the inner regions of the bookstore seemed arduous, but Olivia had a unique ability to close her eyes and when she opened them again she would be somewhere new. She gripped our hands in hers as she smiled reassuringly before closing her eyes. A strange disembodied feeling washed over me and I imaged my body turning into millions of tiny particles.
