Aftermath

I created this image in April 2017 to accompany a piece I wrote called Storm. It was posted on The Female Project on April 27, 2017. I recently found the image while sifting through some materials to inspire me for today’s post. I wanted to share it today because it rang true to me then and it still rings true to me today. When I think about the storm, my storm, words like change, strength, growth, learning, courage, awareness, positivity and power…are a few that come to mind.MAY 30 2019 image

“Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass; it’s about learning how to dance in the rain.” – Vivian Greene

“Some people feel the rain. Others just get wet.” – Bob Marley

Love yourself, accept where you are at, and keep putting one foot in front of the other. “The rainbows of life follow the storm.” – SayingImages.com

  1. Some of the best things I’ve read are those that inspire an idea for a story, an image or a memory worthy of written words. This post, your words – did this for me.
With another internet friend, I introduced two new codes for our communications.

is for those Virtual High 5 moments.
is just for a Virtual Hug for all those times when you can’t share a real one.

We even added a variant you might like.

is for those times when you want to say no words, but would hug and hold someone for as long as it takes for some horrible pain to pass. I have one friend who needs that last one right now. Thanks for reminding me that I have at least this tool to comfort her.
