Millions of tiny hairs screamed in agony as razor sharp scissors severed them forever from their roots. The sound of their voices was ripped from my son’s vocal cords as the only child in history expressed the pain felt by strands of hair. A horrific pain that he made evident through his red faced shrieks, river of tears, and flailing limbs coupled with streams of snot and waves of spit. Add hissing and claws and we would have been cutting the hair of a cornered wild cat!
How did he keep his ears? He even saved some strands of hair.
