Glitter
Mesmerized by the steam from the mug a voice behind me broke the spell. I whipped around to find an ageless woman smiling with twinkling eyes. I stared up at her from my 5 foot vintage point noticing that her skin shimmered. She indicated the abandon coffee, “can’t find her, poof, gone!” It was a startling confirmation of my thoughts.
I followed her gaze back to the mug. There was a hint of hostility when she said, “my name is Glitter, and you are?” When she tucked her long hair behind her pointed ears I choked on my own name

Oooh! Now I read F and G. Is this a 2600 word story told in 100 word snippets? I might have to wait and come back at the very end since the suspense of a daily read will be so tough! I’m so curious to learn more, and you’ve put together a really nice setting and eerie tone. Love it!
